To change your First Name and/or Last Name:

1. Click on the arrow in the top bar.
2. Click “Account Settings”.
3. All details, except for your First Name and Last Name, can be changed.
4. Click “save” to save your changes.

No, it isn't possible to change your Username.

To change your Email:

1. Click on the arrow in the top bar.
2. Click “Account Settings”.
3. All details, except for your username, can be changed.
4. Click “save” to save your changes.

To change your Password:

1. Click on the arrow in the top bar.
2. Click “Account Settings”.
3. All details, except for your username, can be changed.
4. Click “save” to save your changes.

To change your Language:

1. Click on the arrow in the top bar.
2. Click “Account Settings”.
3. All details, except for your username, can be changed.
4. Click “save” to save your changes.

At the moment you can choose from 17 languages.

Why would you block someone? Blocking someone is recommended when a person does not follow the guidlines several times.

To block a person, open the profile page of that person. Then:

1. Click on the arrow in the menu bar below the cover.
2. Click “block”.

You can check your block at the “account settings” page. Open “Blocking”. There you will find a list of the people you have blocked. Here you can also unblocking a person.

To unblock a person:

1. Click on the arrow in the top bar.
2. Click on “Account Settings”.
3. Navigate to “blocking” and click 'Unblock'.

Follow these steps to delete your account:

1. Click on the arrow in the top bar.
2. Click on “Account Settings”.
3. Navigate to “delete account” and click the red button.

Warning! Clicking this button will permanently delete your account. This cannot be undone.

You can open your Profile by clicking on your username at the top left of your screen. It is also possible to edit your Profile. In order to do so, click “Edit Profile” below your username.

On your profile page you can:

1. Post messages and photos on your timeline. You can choose who can see each post: Only your friends or everyone.
2. See your friends and open their profile pages.
3. See an overview of all the photos you have posted in your Photo Album.
4. Check your timeline, which will display your posts and the posts of your friends in chronological order.
5. Change your profile photo and your cover.

You can change your Profile Photo by clicking on your current photo. Then you can choose an image from your computer or mobile device. You can upload images up to 2MB in JPG or PNG.

Only photos of yourself are allowed!

You can change your Profile Cover image by clicking on “Change Cover”. This button will appear as soon as you hover over the cover on your computer. Currently, the cover image can only be changed and repositioned on your computer and not on mobile devices.

You can upload photos up to 2MB in JPG or PNG. The cover image must be at least 1040 x 300 or larger. Please pay attention to copyright when uploading!

To unfriend a person, open your profile page. Then:

1. Navigate to “Friends”.
2. Click “Unfriend” (red button).

It is also possible to unfriend a person by opening the profile page of that person and clicking on “unfriend” in the menu bar below the cover.

No, it is not possible to add more personal information to your profile. You can add a post with more information about yourself on your own Timeline.

You can post new messages in the News Feed, in your own Timeline, in the Timeline of your friends, and in Groups. It always works in the same way.

1. Click on “What’s on your mind” and start typing a message.
2. Click on the buttons below your message to tag friends, enter a location, add photos, add emoticons or to choose a font colour.
3. You can change the privacy settings by clicking “Privacy”. There are two options: Public (Everyone can see this.) and Friends (Only your friends can see this.).
4. Click “Post” to post your message.

Use the search bar to look for new friends. You can only find friends through their usernames.

On a new page you can find your search results.

Use the search bar to find groups.

Your search results will open on a new page. Important: Click on 'Groups' under 'RESULT TYPE' to show the search results for groups.

To add a person to your friends:

1. Go to the profile page of the person you want to add as a friend. (Use the search bar to look for new friends).
2. Click the button in the menu bar below the cover of that person.

You can find Friend Requests, Messages and Notifications in the menu in the top bar. Click on the corresponding icon to see a new window with information about Friend Requests, Messages or Notifications.

You can send messages to friends:

1. Click on the photo of your friend to open the message box.
2. The message box will open at the bottom of the page. Click on this message box.
3. Write your message.

Older messages can you find in the menu at the left side.

Notifications inform users about user related events such as likes or new comments on one of his/her posts.

You can see all your notifications in the left sidebar.

To invite friends to join our network, enter their email addresses and a brief message. They will receive an email containing your invitation.

To create groups:

1. 1. Click 'Groups' in the left sidebar.
2. 2. Click 'Add Group'.
3. Choose a new Group Name.
4. And Choose the Privacy Settings: Public (Everyone can see this group and its posts. Only members can post to this group.) and Closed (Everyone can see this group. Only members can post and see posts.).
5. Click Save.

To open an existing group:

1. Click on 'Groups' in the left sidebar.
2. Now you see more options; click on 'Groups'.

You can join a group by:

1. Clicking the name of the group.
2. Then clicking the “Join Group” button in the top right.

You can change the cover image of your own group by:

1. Opening your group.
2. Clicking the 'cover' button in the top right.
